We squeezed basil out of Campion Zeus, and we’re glad we had given how incredibly busy and cramped it had become during our stay.

Next stop was only an hour or so further south near the small town of Paestum. Regular readers of this blog may remember that we visited the ancient Greek remains in Paestum in 2016. This time we have chosen a small site right next to a lovely sandy beach. Facilities are a little basic at Camping Eucalyptus, but the views of the sea and beach are wonderful and we may well relax here for a few days and soak up some much-needed vitamin D. (40.3856, 15.0015. €25)
