We leave for France on Thursday 26th May. Unfortunately it is only for 18 days this time, but in the future, who knows.

We have made extensive use of Jason and Julie of OurTour’s packing list so we don’t forget anything and it’s a good job we did, because there were a few things which we haven’t needed in England which will be necessary in La Belle France.

We are only taking two of the three dogs: Mabel and Melek. This is mainly because at 13 Molly is not very well and we think would spend most of her time in the van. The other reason is that many campsites in France only accept 2 dogs. Anyway Mabel and Melek have had all their jabs and are now the proud owners of a pet passport each.

We have not decided where in France to head for. We will wait until Thursday and then make our decision based on the French weather.
