RETIRMENT!!!!!!

I finally retired on 31st December, although my last day at work was a half day on 23rd December followed by our firm’s Christmas Party in the afternoon and evening.

I didn’t feel retired until the first day in January when Sarah went off to work leaving me behind.

I have to admit that the first few days were a bit of an anti-climax. I had handed my notice in back in July and had spent the past six months looking forward to retirement and now that it had happened, the reality did not immediately live up to the expectation.

However after a few days I began to get into a routine and my days were filled with preparing for our forthcoming trip, I was thoroughly enjoying retirement.
