We awoke this morning to clear blue skies and over breakfast decided we would try to stay at Camping Krk for another two days, providing the weather continued to be good. Luckily nobody had pre-reserved our great pitch by the sea, so we are here until Monday.

The day was spent in one of the idyllic coves we had seen during yesterday’s walk. Sarah packed a picnic and we set off. After a couple of kilometres were found what we were looking for. A stony beach, clear blue sea and not a sole in sight.

For the rest of the day we lazed in the sunshine, reading and in Sarah’s case taking a tentative dip in the chilly Adriatic.
